The Industrial Engineering department of the Ecole Nationale Polytechnique organized the « Egg game » workshop on Tuesday December 14, 2021 for 2nd year students in Industrial Management (MI) and Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DSIA). It is an activity that aims to design a reusable cardboard prototype intended to receive at ground level 3 fresh eggs, successively released from a height of 2 meters (by a person outside the team), without them being damaged.
The egg must « land » without being directed or restrained by any human influence. In addition, the prototype must be usable in the open air, that is to say without resorting to fixing or resting on an object.
The activity aims to develop in the participants:
- Design and development
- Team management,
- The ability to build an idea as a team.
- Individual creativity.
- Time management.
